Save Armenia Announces High-Level Delegation to Armenia

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SAVE ARMENIA ANNOUNCES HIGH-LEVEL DELEGATION TO ARMENIA

Washington, D.C. — Save Armenia today announced its upcoming delegation to Armenia,
convening a distinguished group of prominent Christian leaders, elected officials, internationally
recognized human rights advocates, foreign affairs journalists, business executives, and
influential public voices to engage directly with Armenian leaders and communities at a pivotal
moment in the region’s history.

The delegation comes as Armenia enters a new chapter following the historic August 8, 2025, White House Peace Accord, facilitated by President Donald J. Trump and signed by Azerbaijani
President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. While the agreement
marked a significant diplomatic achievement, Save Armenia believes the true measure of peace
will not be found in the signing of an accord, but in whether peace translates into security,
stability, and lasting change on the ground.

“History has shown that peace agreements are only as strong as their implementation,” said Dr. Paul Murray, Interim CEO of Save Armenia. “This delegation is about listening, learning, and
engaging directly with leaders and communities to better understand the opportunities and
challenges facing Armenia at this important moment. It is also an opportunity to ensure that the
voices of those most affected by conflict remain part of the conversation moving forward.”

Throughout the delegation, participants will meet with government officials, faith leaders, civil
society representatives, and local communities as they travel across Armenia to experience
firsthand the country’s rich history, Christian heritage, culture, and contemporary realities. These
interactions will provide participants with a deeper appreciation of Armenia’s strategic
significance, the resilience of its people, and the opportunities and challenges shaping its future.

As part of the delegation experience, participants will also be introduced to Save Armenia’s
Peace Indicator, a framework designed to help assess the conditions necessary for a just and
lasting peace following the White House Peace Accord. Through meetings, site visits, and
conversations with leaders and local communities, delegates will gain firsthand insight into the
factors that contribute to long-term peace, security, and regional stability. These experiences will
help inform future conversations, advocacy efforts, public engagement, and leadership initiatives
long after the delegation concludes.

Upon returning to the United States, delegation participants will share their observations through
media engagement, public education initiatives, policy discussions, faith-based networks, and
civil society partnerships. These efforts will help elevate awareness of Armenia’s opportunities
and challenges while contributing to ongoing international conversations regarding peace,
religious freedom, human rights, regional security, and the future of Christian communities in the
South Caucasus.
