Our executive leadership brings experience across advocacy, faith engagement, and international affairs to steward Save Armenia’s strategic direction and day-to-day operations in service of Armenia’s long-term resilience and security.

James Tufenkian

Founder & Chairman

For over 20 years, James Tufenkian has used his business ventures to uplift workers and strengthen communities in Armenia and beyond. In the wake of the 2022 occupation of sovereign Armenia and the siege and ethnic cleansing of Artsakh, this lifelong commitment deepened into a moral calling. He founded Save Armenia to rally American Christians, faith leaders, and partners of conscience to stand for Armenia’s security, dignity, and enduring future.

Dr. Paul Murray

Chief Executive Officer

With over two decades of leadership at the intersection of faith, civil society, and public policy, Dr. Paul Murray advances Armenia’s security and survival through partnership development, grassroots mobilization, and principled policy engagement. Bridging faith diplomacy and Track II engagement, he aligns religious leaders, civic actors, and policymakers to defend human dignity, religious freedom, and Armenia’s long-term resilience.

Eleanor Forshaw

Deputy Director

Eleanor Forshaw brings a deep commitment to advancing religious freedom and human dignity through disciplined leadership and strategic advocacy. With a strong background in international affairs, nonprofit operations, and multi-faith engagement, she has worked at the forefront of IRF advocacy, humanitarian coordination, and organizational leadership, strengthening global partnerships and mission-driven impact.
